Jennifer Yarro
Jennifer Yarro began her studies of the body and mind at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. majoring in pre-med and psychology. While in college, she was introduced to yoga. Upon receiving her foundation training from Vidya at Frog Lotus Yoga, she continued to devote her life’s work to the study and practice of yoga, health, bodywork, and healing. After extensive studies and travels around the States, South East Asia, and Europe, she now brings her gifts back to FLY.

Among her specialties, she is a practitioner and teacher of AcroYoga, Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga, Meridian Yoga, and Thai Yoga Massage. She has studied and trained in Thailand over the years at several schools and with many Thai Masters. She is the co-founder of the Thai Yoga School of New England and travels internationally to teach. She is on staff of three Yoga Alliance Teacher Training programs in America, Frog Lotus Yoga being one of them. Jennifer has also taught at both Kripalu and Omega sharing her talents.

Jennifer has a particular enthusiasm for teaching safe, effective, body awareness and presence. Her newly released DVD of “Hands-On! Skillful Assists for Yoga Asana” gives guidance to yoga teachers on how to give postural adjustments to students. Also, soon to be released is Jennifer’s Thai Yoga Massage DVD series which supports her Thai Yoga Massage trainings

She is passionate about the endless healing potentials of the body and the body/mind connection. With over eight years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bodyworker, her focus is on therapeutic treatments and structural alignment. She has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds as well as working with many professional athletes. She claims her greatest teachers have been her students and clients. Jennifer is forever a student herself to the wonders of individual health and healing and at the same time, she shares her wealth of knowledge and skills abundantly.
